ModelPricing ("we", "us", "our") is a static web tool for estimating AI system costs. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled. We are committed to collecting only what is necessary and being transparent about how it is used.
Calculator inputs. All calculator inputs and results are processed entirely in your browser. We do not transmit or store your cost estimates on any server.
Shared links. When you use the "Share estimate" feature, your inputs are encoded into the URL. No server receives or stores this data — the link is self-contained. Anyone with the link can view your estimate.
Local storage. We store your theme preference (dark/light mode) in your browser's localStorage. This is not transmitted to us.
Analytics. If analytics are enabled on this site, we may collect anonymised page view data including URL, referrer, browser type, and approximate location (country/city). No personally identifiable information is collected. [Replace with your specific analytics provider, e.g. Plausible, Fathom, or Google Analytics, and update accordingly.]
Affiliate link clicks. When you click an affiliate link, the destination site may set cookies and track your visit per their own privacy policy.
ModelPricing itself sets no cookies. Third-party analytics providers and affiliate partner sites may set cookies per their own policies.
We use Google Fonts to serve typography. Font requests are made to Google's servers and are subject to Google's privacy policy.
Affiliate links point to third-party sites that have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their data practices.
We do not store personal data on our servers. Browser-side data (localStorage) persists until you clear your browser data.
As we collect no personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about data handled by third-party services linked from this site, please contact those services directly.
We may update this policy when the site's functionality changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
